Simple Tapsilog Recipe

How to Make Delicious Tapsilog

Tapsilog is one of the most favorite breakfast of Filipinos. So, if your not a Filipino and you want to try this kind of breakfast, you can simple make and serve it to your family. Now, we are going to make this Tapsilog which means Tapa (beef) + Sinangag (fried rice) + Itlog (egg).

Ingredients:
  • beef (thinly sliced)
  • soy sauce
  • (you can also add oyster sauce)
  • ground pepper
  • lemon or calamansi
  • sugar
  • garlic, chopped
  • onions, sliced
  • remaining rice (tirang kanin)
  • egg
  • salt
  • oil
Procedure:
  1. In one container, combined the beef, soy sauce (oyster sauce), ground pepper, garlic and lemon (or calamansi) marinade for atleast 1 hour. Set aside.
  2. Heat the pan and put oil. Saute the garlic and onions.
  3. Add the remaining rice. Mix.
  4. Add some salt for taste. Set aside.
  5. Heat the pan and add some oil.
  6. Cook the egg. Fried sunny side up.
  7. Add some salt. Set aside.
  8. Heat the pan, and add oil.
  9. Fried the marinated beef. Add some sliced onions if you want.
  10. Sliced the cooked beef into small pieces.
Serving:
  1. In a large plate, put the fried rice, the egg and the cook tapa (beef).
  2. Add some fresh tomato.
  3. Serve it on breakfast or lunch. Enjoy.
