Simple Lechon Paskiw

How to Cook Simple Lechon Paksiw
To tell the truth, one of my favorite menu is lechon paksiw. Even though it is simple or special, as long as it is lechon paksiw, I really love it. So now, we are going to make a simple and easy lechon paksiw, using the leftover lechon.
Simple Lechon Paskiw

Ingredients:
  • 4 lbs left over lechon
  • garlic (crushed)
  • onions (chopped)
  • dried bay leaves
  • soy sauce
  • vinegar
  • oil (or you can use beef stock)
  • white or brown sugar
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • liver sauce sarsa or you can use Mang Tomas Sarsa
  • whole peppercorn (pamintang buo)
  • (you can also add lily flowers or banana flowers)
Procedure:
  1. Heat the cooking pot and add oil.
  2. Saute the garlic and onions.
  3. Add the leftover lechon, mix.
  4. Add the whole pepper corn, dried bay leaves and soy sauce.
  5. Add vineger and let it cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Add the liver sauce sarsa or the Mang Tomas sarsa and cook for up to 5-7 minutes.
  7. Put some sugar, salt and pepper. Adjust your desire taste.
  8. Remove from heat and transfer into serving bowl.
  9. Serve with family and enjoy.

Other suggestions:
You can also add and use beef stock instead of oil.
